Here at French in a Box, we believe that French is learned through practice. Wherever you are in the world, you can practise French easily with one of our teachers. This communication takes place via Google Meet (like Zoom or Skype), and if you wish, you can not engage the camera. The most important is to speak French!
To really improve your French, you need to develop a bond of trust with your French teacher, so you can overcome your fear of speaking French.
In the lessons, the English language is used as little as possible to create an immersive environment. The teachers try to create a friendly learning atmosphere, which translates into natural, unscripted conversations, to prepare you for real interactions with French speakers. You will communicate and work out all the details directly with the teacher of your choice. They are totally independent and use a variety of methods to teach French.
French lesson with Amine
Speaking is an excellent way to learn French. Classes will always begin with a short discussion on a variety of topics. Then comes the technical part with grammar/conjugation and a few exercises.
This is followed by the reading of a newspaper article to correct pronunciation and learn new words before discussing and debating the article.
Each student has a shared Google Drive document on which we write all sorts of usefulinformation to help them progress.
I try to make the lessons as enjoyable as possible, where you can have fun while learning.
